Chandigarh Housing Board is developing a 110.63 Acre land project at IT Habitat RGCTP Chandigarh. A central green park will also be developed in the chunk. Building (16.6 Acre) No 1 and 2 are being developed by CHB under general housing scheme by Chandigarh Housing Board for sale. Architect Consultant has been appointed for the project.
The consultant has prepared architectural design/drawings of the project which have been submitted to PAC (U) for approval. Four Bed Room, Three Bed Room and Two Bed Room flats are planned in this building.
Plot No. 7 is also in the process of being developed for Housing for Senior Government Employees and other purposes. The Architect Consultant, who received the design contract by means of a design competition, has been selected. In Plot No. 7, 4BHK flats and EWS flats have been planned. Drawings for the project have been submitted to PAC (U) for its approval.

The Chandigarh Housing Board was created in 1976 by extending the Haryana Housing Act to the Union Territory of Chandigarh. One of its responsibilities is providing reasonably priced housing for people who can't provide for themselves.

The Chandigarh Housing Board allocates land for the construction of houses or apartments. Once this allotment is complete, the board will provide applications to potential buyers of these properties, who will submit their applications before the allotted date. A draw will be held and addresses assigned accordingly. Refunds are given if no successful applicants apply.
The Chandigarh Housing Board constructs commercial units as well as undertaking deposit works for both the Chandigarh Administration and other organisations. We are also charged with the responsibility of implementing the Co-operative House Building Societies Scheme 1991.
