The Jalandhar Development Authority (JDA) is actively working toward expanding residential infrastructure in the city. The most recent initiative includes plans for Urban Estate Phase-3, which aims to provide modern and affordable housing facilities for the growing population of Jalandhar. This project is currently in the planning and approval stage and is expected to offer residential plots and group housing units equipped with essential civic amenities.
In addition, JDA has recently granted licenses to private developers, such as AGI Infra Limited, for its group housing project “Prestige by AGI” in Pholriwal, Jalandhar. The authority is also conducting e-auctions for residential and commercial plots to encourage investment and urban growth across the region.
